How It Works

  1. When you need help, just press your pendant button.

  2. Your information is sent to our Emergency Response Center. An emergency operator promptly contacts you through your device and decides on proper action.

  3. The operator coordinates the appropriate responder – emergency services, caregiver, family member or neighbor – based on your needs.

HelpLink is a personal emergency response system that connects to a landline, providing a reliable and cost-effective emergency service. The use of a HelpLink pendant or wristband enables an individual to summon assistance remotely via a wireless, battery-powered transmitter. When the button on either the personal device or console is activated, the system dials a toll-free number and connects with HelpLink’s national response center.

Upon receiving the emergency signal, the response center automatically accesses, retrieves and displays the individual’s demographic and responder information. The emergency responder will then establish voice communication through the HelpLink console and will dispatch the appropriate assistance.

What's Included

Personal Device Features
Choose between a pendant or a wristband. Both are attractively designed and versatile, with the option of wearing as a necklace, on the wrist, or on a belt. Both choices have an indicator light that will flash when depressed if the unit has a low battery.

If the wristband or pendant is within range of the HelpLink console, it will send a low-battery reading to the response center, and HelpLink will make a service call to remind the individual of a low-battery reading. Both the personal pendant and wristband are water-resistant.

Console Device
The console device is voice activated and can be used as a speakerphone if used during an emergency. By having the HelpLink Personal Emergency Response System console connected to your phone system, you will not see any cost increases on your phone or electric bill, and you can still use your phone as usual. The console is lightweight, compact and will fit onto any coffee or bedside table. For added protection during a power outage, the console contains a built-in automatic battery backup.

Free Extras
Monthly test-reminder calls will be made from HelpLink’s service center — even if you forget to test your personal device each month. If you have a problem with your system, HelpLink provides free service calls, which are made within 72 hours of receiving your call. All products also comes with a lock box for hidden key:
